Edinburgh’s property market booms as Londoners head North

Figures from the Office for National Statistics show that last year 340,500 people left the capital for another area of the UK, with Scotland being the top destination for relocation.
Benefiting from the trend, Edinburgh’s property market is booming, with buyers attracted to the green city’s culture, architecture and accessibility; an international airport is just 30 minutes away.
The property itself is equally diverse, with something to suit every budget ranging from one-bedroom apartments for £100,000 to detached properties for £3 million. The new Canonmills Gardens development close to Stockbridge has 180 one and two-bedroom properties ranging from £235,000 to £348,000 in price.
